Tour Tips

Introducing Luxury Transport Team-Inspired Tours!

We so often have groups and clients ask our team of drivers, managers and owners their thoughts on where they should go, what they should see, and what they would recommend in our beautiful city of Vancouver, so our exceptional team has offered up their go-to’s, their must-see’s, and their most favourite city picks…

MC’s Quickie Half Day Tour:

If I only had 3 to 4 hours to take in as much of Vancouver as I could then here would be my top spots…

Drive through Stanley Park with a photo op at Prospect Point

A drive down Robson Street – Vancouver’s bustling shopping hub

Photo op at the Olympic Cauldron and a quick peak at the new and award winning Vancouver Convention Centre

Drive through Gas Town and China Town

And a final stop at Granville Island to explore a few of the unique shops, enjoy a coffee by the water, or grab a bite in the amazing public market.

Voila!  You too can enjoy Vancouver in only half a day!

George’s Sea-to-Sky & Whistler Tour:

Drive one of British Columbia's most scenic drives. From crossing historic Lion's Gate Bridge, up the Howe Sound and through the canyons, the name says it all…

  • North Shore Mountains

  • Pre-Olympic Highway upgrade explanation

  • A highlight of the islands, ferry routes, Sunshine Coast

  • Explanation of the abundance of seafood and marine life and the lumber industry in the Howe Sound

  • Furry Creek Golf Course

  • Britannia Beach (Mining Museum, Trading Post, General Store)

  • Shannon Falls; 3rd tallest falls in BC

  • Squamish; Canada's Adventure Capital (The Chief rock climbing mountain, Adventure Centre, World Eagle Capital Brackendale)

  • Whistler Olympic Park

  • Wildlife you may see along the way; Bears, Deer, Cougars, Coyotes, Eagles, Hawks and Owls

  • Plus all the breathe taking lakes, mountain tops and glaciers along the way

And when you arrive in Whistler the journey continues.  Here are some highly recommended activities for everyone…

  • Ride the Peak 2 Peak Gondola; highest lift of its kind and longest unsupported span

  • Sliding Centre; bobsled, luge and skeleton course (and "yes" it is open for the public to ride)

  • Abundance of both Winter or Summer activities

The list goes on. You truly need to see it to understand why they call it "one of the most beautiful drives".

John’s Local Wine Tour:

To start, we would go to the "Township 7 Vineyards & Winery" for about a half hour and then continue on for the highlight of the tour, "Domaine de Chaberton Estate Winery".  Here they have free tours twice a day - at 2pm & 4pm. Private tours available for a nominal fee. The minimum time I would recommend here is one hour, though if you choose to do the tour and have lunch at The Baccus Bistro (an excellent resaurant!), then this stop would be more like 2-3 hours. My third recommended stop is The Fort Wine Co. near Fort Langley. They specialize in fruit wines.

Time dependent, other wineries along the way include: Neck of the Woods, Lotusland & River's Bend, and of course, there are more.
I recommend a minimum of 3 hours, and 4-5 is best if you decide to lunch at The Baccus Bistro.

A great local wine experience!

Alan’s Vancouver City Sightseeing Tour:

If you have a whole day to explore Vancouver then here are my must-see spots…Stanley park, Granville Island for the variety of things to do, Grouse Mountain, Cleveland Dam, Gas Town for its history,  Queen Elizabeth Park, McMillan Blodel conservatory, even Nat Bailey Stadium,  UBC and Spanish Banks area ( the first explorers navigated the harbor from this point right through Deep Cove area).  The rail history can be documented here as well from the CP Roundhouse to North Van yards.  If people have a theme in mind then there are a variety of different festivals around Vancouver to experience.  From Bard on the Beach's Shakespeare in the summer to Malken Bowl (Theater Under the Stars) to the Arts Club on Granville Island to the many other groups that carry on our rich tradition of the theater within this great city.  Chili cook offs in North Van to Carribean Days to Richmonds Chinese festivals.  So much to see and so little time.

Other great tours our team would recommend you try…
