Time to Book Your Whistler Travel…
The word is out…crazy Whistler snow fall!!
Vancouver and Whistler experienced the most beautiful summer this year, and a hint of the winter season has taken it’s hold these past couple of days. A new chill in the air that is telling you it’s time to book your Whistler winter holiday!
Still hanging onto the last of summer?…
There’s still ‘tail end of summer’ events to be enjoyed in Whistler, like the Whistler Outdoor Photography Summit happening Sept 26th-29th and the Spirit Within Festival at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre this same weekend.
As well, the upcoming Thanksgiving Long Weekend for the Bike Park, the Peak 2 Peak Gondola Sightseeing and golf. And if you need to suit up with new gear for this coming winter season, the ever popular Turkey Sale for ski and snowboard gear will be taking place Thanksgiving weekend also.
Leading up to the snow season…
Once beginning of November rolls around, we’ll be clock watching for opening day on the mountains and there will be plenty of buzz in and around Whistler Village with Whistler’s annual Cornucopia Food and Wine Festival starting Nov 7th and the Whistler Film Festival starting Dec 4th.
Getting from Vancouver Airport (YVR) or Vancouver to Whistler…
During the winter months, the most convenient and enjoyable way to get to Whistler is by private transfer.
Luxury Transport Inc. offers meet & greet door-to-door service for transfers from YVR to Whistler, Vancouver to Whistler and Seattle to Whistler.
The new fleet of SUV’s, Sprinter Vans and Mini-buses are fully equipped for the winter road conditions and can accommodate any group size. Vancouver sightseeing or stops along the Sea to Sky highway can be accommodated within the customized service.

Private Charter vs. Rental Cars to Whistler
So you’ve booked your Whistler holiday, or you’re in research mode and are close to booking your trip to Whistler, and you are considering your Whistler transporation options.
Many things may run through your mind, or across your screen, leaving you pondering…should I book a private charter service to
Whistler or just rent a car to save some bucks?
The misconception is that booking a private charter will be the
more expensive option, which it is not.
Luxury Transport Inc. is the safer, more functional and more economical option, and here is why…
Not only does booking your private charter with us provide you with a full meet & greet door-to-door friendly and personal service, but by the time you’ve factored in your rental costs and your overnight parking costs for the duration of your stay at your Whistler Hotel, we as a private charter service just became the more economical choice between the two.
Most of Whistler’s hotels and condos are within easy walking distance to Whistler’s charming pedestrian Village as well as the Whistler Blackcomb lifts. And some of those that aren’t have courtesy shuttles running to and from the Village for your convenience. In short, you do not need a vehicle in Whistler.
We are also your safest option given our high level of insurance and our top-of-the-line winter tires. Rental cars do not often come with winter tires which becomes a very clear danger when attempting the Sea-to-Sky highway to Whistler in the winter time. Leave the driving to our fabulously friendly team of driving and customer service professionals!
Our vehicle style with the biggest bang for your buck is our 9 and 11 passenger Sprinter Vans, which can hold right up to 9 and 11 passengers with an enourmous amount of luggage. A one-way service in a Sprinter Van is $375 plus taxes and gratuity. Divide that by 9 or 11 passengers and you have the best service in the best vehicles at an extremely competetive rate.
Throw in our Facebook Promo going on right now that saves you $25 on a one-way or $50 on a roundtrip and it’s truly a match made in heaven!
And the winner for transfers to Whistler is…Private Charter with Luxury Transport Inc. every time!

What a grand adventure to head up the Whistler Blackcomb gondolas for a day of hiking, exploring and of course fabulous dining!
The Peak 2 Peak sights are absolutely breathtaking from all angles and even the smallest of children (my 3 year old for example) can handle some of the hikes up top.
A pleasant surprise was the bin of ski poles that people can help themselves to for walking sticks, which the kids go crazy for of course!
There are impressive wood carvings along the trails along with plaques filled with bits of wildlife and plant info, not to mention the endless and absolutely beautiful photo opportunities.
If you are up to take advantage of the whole day and into the evening, it is well worth attending one of the Mountain Top BBQ’s that they do so well over the course of the summer.
Taking place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening at the Roundhouse Lodge on Whistler Mountain, a dining experience is waiting for you at 6000 feet at the top of the Whistler Village Gondola.
This coming Sept 7th, 8th, 9th weekend, the weekend of the GranFondo, is the last weekend of the summer to take in this experience and all it’s delicous fixings!
Ahhh, Whistler..get up there!
Summer time is coming on strong and Whistler Blackcomb has officially opened many of their amazing summer time activities for all to enjoy!
Peak to Peak Sightseeing, Family Adventure Zone, Whistler Blackcomb Mountain Bike Park, Bear viewing and Ecology Tours, and Whistler Blackcomb Glacier skiing and riding are all open for Whistler adventure seekers.

Whistler Blackcomb – Bring it on! The snow if falling in the Whistler Valley and it is time to get pumped for this year’s Whistler winter season! With over 8,100 ski-able acres, two mountains, 37 lifts, 16 alpine bowls, absolutely breathtaking scenery, all connected by an impressive cobble-stoned pedestrian Village I can’t imagine you need any more convincing than that?!?
The Sea-to-Sky highway is beautiful but treacherous in the winter time, so now is the time to start planning your Whistler transfers. Let us take the stress out of your holiday with our full meet & greet, door-to-door one-way and roundtrip Whistler transportation services.
We can help you choose the vehicle that best suits your group and customize your Whistler transfer to include anything from grocery shops, to meal stops, to sightseeing and Vancouver tours on route.

Looking for ways of getting to Whistler this winter season?
It’s the perfect time! Whistler Blackcomb has experienced unbelievable fresh powder snowfall recently and on a crisp sunny day the new Peak 2 Peak offers unbeatable and most memorable views.
But the road to Whistler is most risky, especially for you ‘out-of-towners’. Highway 99, otherwise known as the Sea-to-Sky highway, is a beautiful and scenic ride (case in point, the image that you see above is myself and my two girls at one of the viewpoints on the Sea to Sky at sunset) but can be very trecherous in the winter time and ads an element of danger for transportation to Whistler.
Our Limobuses, Shuttle Buses, Sprinter Vans and SUV’s are all equipped with top-of-the-line winter tires and experienced professional chauffeurs for a convenient and safe ride to Whistler.
Starting at $325 per way there are a number of great options for your group.
