Biking in Whistler

May 11, 2022

Who’s excited for biking in Whistler this upcoming Spring and Summer! We’re seeing lots of skis and boards being swapped out for bikes right now as we head deeper into our warmer seasons. In celebration of the upcoming opening for the Whistler Bike Park – woot! – we thought we’d highlight biking in Whistler.  And in case you figured it’s only for the daredevils, Whistler Mountain boasts all kinds of trails from beginner green trails to more technical double blacks.  With four mountain biking zones offering more than 4900 feet of trail for all kinds of rider abilities, it’s considered the number one lift-accessed bike park in the world.  Now you need not wonder why people come from all over to experience the downhill thrill that the Whistler trails can bring.

If heading up the mountain isn’t your thing, feel free to grab a patio seat at the base of the hill, at Garibaldi Lift Company, The Longhorn, or Black’s to name a few, to take in all the riding action while enjoying great eats, beverages, and of course those views! Or if you’re looking for more of a leisure option for bike exploration, Whistler’s extensive pedestrian Valley trail system that winds in and around the Village, surrounding lakes, golf courses, parks, and forest is an endless wonder to explore.

Our diverse fleet of vehicles includes Sprinter Vans and Buses that can accommodate your bikes if you are travelling to Whistler with them, or there are great bike rental companies in resort that would be thrilled to get you set up.  The best part is that once you are in resort you don’t need a car!  Book your private transfers to Whistler and then walk and bike your heart out on a spring or summer Whistler vacation to remember.
