Our Winter Whistler Week!

It’s time for a recap on our amazing Winter Whistler Week! And what a time we had in Whistler! It’s such a busy time of year for our business and the Resort but we made sure to take some family and adventure time in Whistler and it was PERFECTION!

First stop, Whistler Village! We started off slowly with a leisurely walk and shop through the charming and cobblestoned Village Stroll. Then some appies at the Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub right at the base of the mountain. One of our fave spots and such fun atmosphere!

Next up, Whistler Mountain! We were up early for fresh powder on the hill. The snow and the views on Whistler Blackcomb did not disappoint! We shredded our way through this spectacular day and ended up in Creekside at Dusty’s for apres ski. Live music, a great vibe!

Nordic Trails! After some pajama and puzzles time beside a cozy fire, we ventured out again, this time to the Nordic Trails. Both the Callaghan Valley and Lost Lake have an abundance of cross-country ski trails to choose from. We chose to take on the Lost Lake Loop. A great workout with the most beautiful views of the lake and mountains all around us!

Olympic Plaza Skating! The kids took off for some cousin time at the Whistler’s outdoor skating rink right in the Olympic Plaza in the Village. Lights, music, rentals – it’s a family MUST!

Nita Lake Ice Plunge! We capped off our magical Whistler week with a New Year’s polar plunge into the ice hole in Nita Lake. Definitely COLD but what a memory, and it’s become an annual renewal for us. Careful with this one – know the risks and your health limits before taking the plunge!

Honestly, the entire experience was truly memorable and a time with our family that we’ll treasure forever. Even the journey to and from Whistler along the Sea to Sky Highway was a treat.
