Whistler Blackcomb Mountain Adventures!

What a grand adventure to head up the Whistler Blackcomb gondolas for a day of hiking, exploring and of course fabulous dining!
The Peak 2 Peak sights are absolutely breathtaking from all angles and even the smallest of children (my 3 year old for example) can handle some of the hikes up top.
A pleasant surprise was the bin of ski poles that people can help themselves to for walking sticks, which the kids go crazy for of course!
There are impressive wood carvings along the trails along with plaques filled with bits of wildlife and plant info, not to mention the endless and absolutely beautiful photo opportunities.

If you are up to take advantage of the whole day and into the evening, it is well worth attending one of the Mountain Top BBQ’s that they do so well over the course of the summer.
Taking place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening at the Roundhouse Lodge on Whistler Mountain, a dining experience is waiting for you at 6000 feet at the top of the Whistler Village Gondola.

This coming Sept 7th, 8th, 9th weekend, the weekend of the GranFondo, is the last weekend of the summer to take in this experience and all it’s delicous fixings!

Ahhh, Whistler..get up there!
