Whistler is calling you! It’s been an exciting time in Whistler with SO MUCH SNOW, chilly temperatures, and the cheering, activities and celebrations around the Invictus Games. Whistler is calling you with so much to see and do in the coming season.

Snow Fun in the Sun! Whistler has been seeing some pretty cold temperatures, but that hasn’t stopped us from enjoying the absolutely stunning blue bird days on the hill! And we’re already loving these longer days, mixed with some of the most breathtaking sunsets in the backdrop of our little mountain town.

Whistler Fun Fact! Did you know Whistler just successfully hosted the Invictus Games, an International Adaptive Sports Event started by Prince Harry for wounded and injured service peoples and Veterans? Invictus means unconquered or undefeated, and excitedly winter sports were introduced to the Games for the very first time in history.

Things to do in Whistler! With longer days and spring skiing on the horizon there’s lots to celebrate here! Here’s what’s coming up in Whistler:

Winter Whistler Events… 

• We Want You Here!: There is so happening in the news these days, but one thing is for certain – we want you here! We proud Canadians are very grateful for our friendships around the world and Vancouver and Whistler look forward to showing you our love. Whistler is calling you, friends!
• Fire and Ice Show: There’s still time in the season to take in the energy and excitement of the Sunday evening Fire and Ice Show! Gather in Skier’s Plaza to enjoy this free musical high impact show of skiers and riders taking awesome jumps and flipping through a hoop of fire!
• St. Patrick’s Day: This is a super fun time to plant yourself in the bars and restaurants of Whistler Village! The people, energy, and music are always something special to be a part of on St. Paddy’s.
• Whistler Ski and Snowboard Festival: This highly anticipated Whistler festival takes place in April and offers spectacular sporting displays, races, activities, and awesome endless entertainment! This is bucket-list kind of stuff.
